August Ends Dry in Most of Midwest
The last ten days of August were dry across most of the Midwest. The exceptions were the mid-Mississippi River Valley and the eastern Ohio Valley. Details can be found in the August 31st edition of the Midwest Climate Watch.

The Midwestern Regional Climate Center (MRCC) is a cooperative program of the Illinois State Water Survey and the National Climatic Data Center (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, U.S, Department of Commerce).

The MRCC is a partner in a national climate service program that includes the National Climatic Data Center, Regional Climate Centers, and State Climate Offices.

The Illinois State Water Survey is a department of the Institute of Natural Resource Sustainability at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
